Guys and Dolls
Its not even New Year's Day and I already had to completely revise my 2015 resolutions. PA and I sat down and wrote up healthy, intellectually stimulating and productive changes we would like to see in our lives. And, I admit, it was a motivating exercise. Unfortunately, it ended up rather fruitless and unpractical AND its ALL PA's fault.
Why? You Ask!!!!
Well, how am I to create a consistent Chi flow and achieve a sense of Zen when I am distracted by, and this is only a sample, the following:
Tuesday: The Midland Championships are featured and they are ONLY at Mickey's.
Wednesday: We got the Peach Bowl, the Fiesta Bowl, the Orange Bowl, and Mickey's New Year's Eve Party (With are famous Midnight Pizza Buffet and Toast)
Thursday; It the first ever National Championship Semi-Finals starting at 5:00 with FSU/Oregon followed by OSU/'Bama. And Half-Priced Appetizers to snack on starting at 4:00
Friday: Great Country and Classics return with Mickey faves
"Rhythm Road" and more College Wrestling.
Saturday: Wild Card Weekend Kicks off with two games starting at 4:30 and "Tim and Jake" with ALL the country you can handle at 8:30.
Sunday: Wild Card Weekend continues with $2.00 Domestics starting at noon for the Bengals/Colts and Lions/Cowgirls.
As bad as that will be for my spiritual commitments, the next week could even be worse!!
Well Thursday thru Sunday includes the long awaited return of Matt Roehrig, the "Rightful Kings" and Justin Raynor!!! Not to mention Division Week and the NCAA Championship Final.
So you see my dilemma!!! But I have come up with a compromise that I feel is appropriate and achievable. Instead of better spiritual and mental health, I have resolved to have more fun in 2015 then I did in 2014. Now I know it will be a challenge but as the wise man said "Whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger".
See you here
