I just got off the phone with Roger Goodell and, to nobody's surprise, he needed Mickey's help. For the third year in a row he wants to advertise our bar as
The NFL's Official Super Bowl Party Bar!!!!
I said "Now listen commish, Mickey's doesn't need your endorsement, we've been doing this a long time. Mickey's knows football fans and football fans know Mickey's. So don't be thinking FOMs are going to be impressed by the NFL's endorsement!!! Any deal has to be a 50/50 thing, symbiotic, quid pro quo, a scratch for a scratch!! You cab ease (sp.)!!!
Roger replied, "I know Andy, I apologize. It's just that with the matchup we have, we're worried about the rating, but with Mickey's endorsement and Lady Gaga at halftime my investors would be just feel more comfortable."
What could I say? After all, the guys barely keeping body and soul together on his measly $32 million annual contract (I told him if he's truly looking for security: buy a bar). So it's Mickey's to the rescue again!!
